About the Role:

Our client, a leading service provider for the Pharma, Biotech & Life Sciences sector, is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This individual will be responsible for expanding their presence within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, leveraging an extensive database and innovative tools to drive new business opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Mapping and Analysis:
    • Identify potential clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of target companies and key contacts.
  • Business Development and Sales:
    • Generate and qualify leads through outbound campaigns.
    • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients in pharma and biotech.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
    • Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Work closely with the CEO and team to refine sales strategies.
    • Provide regular reports on sales activities and market feedback.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective outreach campaigns.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors.
  • Strong ability to generate and qualify leads through strategic outbound campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conducting effective presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Ability to manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions of leads into deals.
  • Experience collaborating with executive teams to refine sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
